  I've been going to Al's Comics since the late 90s. This is the best comic shop south of Sacramento. The no-nonsense store is wall-to-wall books, ranging from the 60s to current, and from mainstream to independent labels. Al, himself, is a local hero with a large following and makes you feel welcomed. If you're new to comics, thinking about getting into comics, or a long-time collector, Al's Comics is your best bet in the Valley. Absolutely worth your time and money.

  I'm not a regular shopper at this comic shop, but the one time I visited, it was pretty cool. Great selection of modern books, and lots of place to peruse back issues. I purchased 2 silver aged Fantastic Four books on the wall to add to the collection I'm trying to complete. I was surprised that comic book accessories go for pretty cheap. I purchased a BCW folio box that fits around 15 comics and several shortbox divider singles for below price compared to other shops. Owner is a nice man and I will stop by whenever I'm in town.
