  I’ve been coming to BP’s since I started playing MTG almost 2 years ago and in that time I’ve had many wonderful experiences with the staff and community. I’ve only had pleasant interactions with the owner, whether he was behind the counter or my opponent in an event. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the events are well-coordinated and fun. A nice thing about the store is that whenever you buy cards they use the TCGPlayer market price so you always know you’re getting a fair deal.   Better Plays Gaming is hands down one of the best local game stores around. The Magic: The Gathering community there is incredibly fun and welcoming whether you’re a seasoned competitive player or just getting into the game, you’ll feel right at home. There’s always something going on, from organized events to casual play, and the atmosphere makes it easy to stay for “just one more round.” Their pricing and trade-ins are extremely fair and transparent, which is something that really sets them apart.   This shop is a joke. Owner has zero people skills. Iv had multiple bad interactions with him. Unless you identify as a lamp you will find this shop off putting. This shop could care less if you show up for events or spend money. Most card shops enjoy new faces and people who want to interact and spend. Go to Akron, Streetsboro or Ravenna. Avoid here. This shop even sends its employees to another local shop to buy singles cause they are not marked up and then sells at their inflated prices.   I went there to sell some of my pokemon cards. I was greeted by the owner Josh. Let me tell ya that man is a saint! He was upfront and very honest. I couldn't be happier with how he handled business. I was a little worried because I've had terrible experiences at other card shops ripping me off. Not Josh he sat there looking up the values and gave me what the cards go for and his price. The price was more than fair. I can't say enough good things. The shop itself was very clean and well organized. I wont go to a different card shop ever again worth the drive. Wish I could rate higher than 5 st

  Was looking for a home to play standard weekly and was excited to see they had it listed on the wizards locator. Went and put together a couple fun decks to play only to show up multiple weeks to find the events cancelled. You’ve might have been able to help the standard community but every employee would scoff at the thought of playing standard or when asked if they had anyone who would want to play test. You should try to help build a format if you were advertising it not break it down and say nobody plays that format or it’s a “dead” format as stated by the owner. Looks like I’ll be making

  DONT EVER TRY TO SELL YOUR CARDS HERE. I made the mistake of telling them i’m not very well versed on pokémon cards but that I have a pretty good size collection and the dude gave me a whole spiel pretending to be cool and looking out for me then he offered me $40 for the entire thing and told me anywhere would offer about the same. After more research and taking them else where i got over $250 for the whole collection and found out that one of my cards alone was worth $45. SHADY SHADY SHADY and not trustworthy at all
