  recently visited Big Apple Comic & Collectibles, and it was the very first comic book shop I’ve ever been to. As someone who’s just recently gotten into comics, I have to admit I was pretty overwhelmed at first the selection is massive! Luckily, the staff there are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. One staff member spent 15–20 minutes with me, patiently explaining where everything was, how the comic book system works, and even the difference between variant covers and weekly releases.   Wow! For (OG) comic collectors this place is AWESOME! I've visited LOTS of places and how this shop is organized is hands down the best. All that said, it is rather difficult to find ... some (street) signage would make a BIG difference!

  Nice selection of comics, and large stock of D&D and Warhammer product s. Prices were a little high. Store was pretty full. It could use more lights, since it was dim, and there's a bit of clutter (probably sorting area) at the left side of the store. The person working was an older gentleman who stayed behind the counter the whole time we were there, possibly due to not being very mobile. But he was nice, and gave us a free sticker. We plan to visit the shop again, next time we're in Amarillo.

  I went there with my son and his family. They have lots of interesting things. My son was looking at Warhammer items. I also saw comic books and a lot of dice. I loved all the different dice sets, so colorful! If you like tabletop gaming, go and check them out!

  This is the oldest, and now only dedicated comic shop in Amarillo. There's another place that kind of has older comics but that's not really what they are known for and they're in the worst spot. I have several great memories whenever we used to live in Amarillo of going up to the comic shop every Wednesday to get the new comics that came in.
