  Really a cool place. Looks like everyone is welcome (YAY!!). They've got a great variety - got a few card cases with matching sleeves - 1 was out of stock everywhere else & not being made anymore 😁 While this store isn't on the main streets, so to speak, I feel like this makes it more of a gem bcuz it's not overrun by gatekeepers & jerks. The staff & the other patrons were very nice. The staff answered all questions & wasn't condescending to any of the female gamers in my party or that I overhead with other patrons (BIG YAY!!!!!!). Prices were comparable to the other area stores. Lots of room

  As someone who is fairly new to the pokemon community I found it a little frustrating when I went into this store and was kinda brushed off by the guy at the counter. I went in with the intention of trading some cards in for sealed product and when the guy at the counter said "for any trades you have to go on our website" with no further explanation as to why or how it works, with almost a "dont have time for you" kind of attitude, and zero eye contact, it made me feel super discouraged and not welcomed at all.   Purchased a card from Sam from Cape Fear Collectibles. When the card came in it was slightly warped and damaged. I was a little sad but no fault of his own I showed him pics of the card how I recieved it. Without hesitation he made things right. Sam is an outstanding guy and knows how to treat his customers.   New Hobby Store in Wilmington! Cape Fear Collectibles The building used to be a dance studio, so there is massive amounts of play space. There is an arcade under construction, vending machines, and a diverse selection of games / Supplies. Im only in Wilmington occasionally, but this is the best Minipainting supply store I've found here. Are there any Necromunda Players around here? PS: Whatever the air conditioning is set on is perfect.   From the moment I stepped through the door at Cape Fear Collectibles I was truly amazed. I am old enough to remember when stores like Radio Shack, Model and Hobby Shops, and even some Toy stores would awe and inspire the imaginations of both young and old alike.   First of all, my geek heart absolutely loves the entire aesthetic of this store, including the gender neutral bathrooms and their amazing signs. The employees are super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The areas for table top gaming and miniatures are nicely laid out and decorated and a gamer's dream. Overall, this is one of the coolest places in Wilmington!
