This is my favorite local gaming store. Ben, the proprietor, has created a supportive, family-friendly place. Great selection of games, particularly RPGs, CCGs, dice, and miniatures. I've played a lot of Magic: The Gathering here (lots of organized play events) and recently started playing D&D 5th edition. Pillar of the community!

I've been a patron of D20 games for over a decade, and throughout that time the store has remained a persistent haven for TTRPG and TCG players. The store has fostered an incredibly positive and welcoming community, and its staff make an effort to champion diversity and inclusion. They offer strong support for both casual and competitive play, and enjoy what is easily the best local collection of singles. I cannot recommend a better game store in the Bay Area.

There has been a person slandering this store leaving bad reviews and misrepresenting facts. Here are my experiences with the store. This place rocks. It's got a ton of really cool stuff, all kinds of precons, knowledgeable staff. The play space is crowded but everyone is nice about making space. Very active trading and trade binder community here. I love browsing and seeing all the cool stuff they have. It's a small scene but everyone has been nothing but welcoming to me who is new to the area. There is also a ttrpg scene here that I am excited to get into as a GM eventually - they are cl

I don’t usually post reviews, but what I saw during my visit was disturbing enough that it needs to be shared. Two customers, both people of color and openly gender-fluid, were treated in a way that felt targeted, disrespectful, and discriminatory. Situations like this should be handled with fairness and professionalism, yet that is not what occurred. Although staff objected to the imagery on their playmats, comparable or more explicit content was visible elsewhere in the store. Rather than applying rules consistently or speaking privately and respectfully, staff chose to confront and shame t

I come here almost every week with my 8-year-old son, and it’s honestly one of our favorite spots. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere feels safe, and the rules are clearly enforced in a way that keeps things fun and respectful—huge plus when you’re bringing kids. My son feels comfortable here, and I feel good letting him play and explore on his own. They’ve got everything covered: Magic, D&D, board games, and plenty of organized activities. Whether you’re a longtime gamer or just introducing a kid to the hobby, this place makes it easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families as we

I’ve been going to D20 for months now, both for a weekly D&D parent-and-child game with my 8-year-old and for adult-only games. My son looks forward to it every week, and I genuinely enjoy the community as well. The store has a solid selection of TTRPG books, dice, and miniatures, and even while finishing up some construction, it’s already a great space to play and hang out. What really stands out is the atmosphere. D20 is welcoming, inclusive, and feels safe for families. I’m proud to bring my kid to a place where diversity isn’t a talking point - it’s just normal life. This store has been such a breath of fresh air for many LGS's in the area. The staff are a big part of the community as a whole, are super welcoming and kind to anyone that steps through the door, and the prices are the fairest amongst any store I've seen in the Bay Area. You can really tell this store cares about its employees and the customers. Also the store has a great DND tavern feel to it, spacious, clean, and just generally looks amazing. Can not recommend this store enough for any of your Table Top or TCG needs.
