  Legitimately the best comic book shop I’ve ever been to. It’s so inviting, there’s always something interesting going on, there’s activities for everyone of all ages, and it’s very community centric. You can tell that it’s more than just about being a place to buy comics. It feels like a safe space to be part of a larger community and that’s something that’s rare and important these days. The staff is amazing and always helpful. No one has ever talked down to me or anyone I’ve ever seen there and they’re nothing but enthusiastic and encouraging to every level of fans.

  This place has good variety of comics. I was able to fill some holes in my older collections right out of their Dollar Boxes.. $20 for 25 comics.. good deal They also have $10 Blind Bags And don't forget to check out the GWAR 1st edition comic that's inclusive to the store! And great people in my opinion. I'll stop on any time I'm in the area

  East Side Mags....I've been coming here since I moved to the area in 2015. Jeff, Chris and the entire crew at East Side are the friendliest and coolest staff you will find. I love stopping at East Side every week for my Pull List and browse the wall for the weekly releases. The guys are always good for a chat and hang out at the shop. Jeff does so much for the Montclair community. Stop in at East Side. Say "hi" and grab some books and collectibles!

  East Side Mags is absolutely fantastic. I stopped in with my son so he could pick out a Pokémon box after we had a bad experience with a product from another store and the whole experience here was perfect from start to finish. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to help. The store itself is clean, organized, and has such a great vibe. My son left thrilled with his Pokémon box and already asking to come back. We will definitely be regulars. Highly recommend.

  First time visiting this store. Recently just got back into collecting comic books. This is definitely one of the coolest shop. The store is very neat, organized, and cleaned. A great display of new comics and well organized back issues areas. From graphic novel books to toys. East Side Mags has it all. Today I found the missing Shang Chi issue to complete my collection. Happy customer. Found my new go to comic shop and also sign up for the comics pull list!!
