  Was looking for a place to play battletech after getting one box; now this place has not just given me a place to play the game but has let me make genuine friends after moving here. They’ve got a great selection and variety of other games, and the staff are engaged in some of the hobbies as well, and are very knowledgeable in most realms, or at least know someone who is. Overall, an amazing place to shop, or to hangout!

  Mixed experience. First, they had what I was looking for, great. It was a last minute gift so the option for paying for expedited 2 day shipping worked well, another plus I thought. Unfortunately, what wasn't included in the information is the 2 day applies to weekdays and the time between the order being placed and Fed-Ex getting the package was enough to put that past the birthday it is for. So I paid $50 instead of free shipping for a gift that isn't coming on time. Just keep that in mind if you have a sudden inspiration for what you want to do on short notice.

  Used to love this shop before they moved. I don't know if they changed hands or what happened. But the level of politeness and customer service has dropped dramatically. The staff are absolutely condescending. It used to be a warm inviting atmosphere.Now it feels like they don't want you there.Unless you're part of the clique. Like I said, I used to love this spot but you'll never catch me in there again.

  The last few times I've been here the people who have rung me up were rude. I don't understand why, especially since I've been reluctant to come back here because they make me feel like an idiot everytime I come here. The guy in front of me had better customer service then me and when I went up, the cashier's attitude did a complete turn. Is it cause I'm female or is it cause I'm not a noticeable regular? Regardless, I won't be coming here from now on.

  Nice little small business gaming shop. Lots of different games going on. Was only in there to find something for a gift but staff seemed very friendly and happy to help with any questions. Would definitely recommend to check out if you’re in the area. Tucked away next to 1960 but plenty of parking and fun/friendly atmosphere even if you don’t fit the typical customer lol.

  I run my weekly games at Ettin, the staff is friendly, they work with me and my group to reserve tables, order products and give us a good playing area with large tables, terrain and battle mats so we don't have to bring our own. I can't say it enough but this is the game store to play tabletop if you live in North Houston.
