  I don’t recommend coming here anymore. I attended an anniversary event and wasn’t given my event packs. I didn’t even know packs had to be requested at the counter until I went to another store’s event the next day and someone told me. When I called Game Nerdz Mesquite about it, they said I forfeited my packs because I didn’t go to the counter and ask—something that was never explained. The next time I went was for a prerelease event. I successfully registered through the Bandai app, which normally guarantees a spot like it does at every other game store.   This place is going downhill. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years, but it’s seemingly getting worse and worse—especially with events, specifically One Piece. I got in successfully on the Bandai app, but the guy said I was supposed to apply for a waitlist and that the Bandai app means nothing. Completely unorganized. I wouldn’t waste my time here; I’d just look for other stores who can organize events correctly. And the prices are definitely scalper prices.

  They fired a MTG store champs as a single Elimination tournament. Then refused to give out the promos to players who lost and wanted to leave. They said we only got the promos if we stayed until the event ended. Feels like they don't care about the players, they're hoping people leave and they can pocket the promos.

  My friend bought a Mega Charizard X Premium Collection for $220 because he doesn't know anything about the Pokemon hobby! This place sells everything at scalpers prices! They even just straight lie to you about the products inside an ETB or Ultra Premium Collection to justify the price. They don't even accept returns or exchanges for something you bought 1 min ago. Even the binder prices are scalpers prices, $4 for a Reverse Holo? Wouldn't come back here ever. There was one nice dude that tried to help out and offer us "deals" but he couldn't do much since "he just works there". Bottom line, e

  This location has gone downhill in the last several months. Waitlist and Bandai communication is terrible, boxes being sold at aftermarket prices instead of MSRP even though there is enough supply. Very poorly managed and frustrating to players overall. Take your business elsewhere.

  Gotta love when it has become cheaper and in some cases more convenient to buy from scalpers rather then what was at one point in time a great lgs. Store staff is cool though, just not the ones above them.
