  I enjoyed finally visiting Golden Apple Comics when I visited LA. It's smaller than I imagined, but had a wide variety of books in stock. They are heavy on comics and books, with only a small selection of toys and statues. I thought the mix of books was very good. Lots of Marvel and DC, but some great alternative and Manga options as well. I found a number of things I haven't seen in other shops.

  Traveling from out of state and had to make a stop at this world famous comic shop. From the second I entered the door I was greeted with a hello from the cashier and got help locating everything I was looking for. So many vintage back issues and other items as well such as trade paperbacks, action figures, even Mad Magazines. Everything was reasonably priced and well organized. I will definitely be returning again next time I’m in LA!

  Golden Apple Comics, is a small business doing big things with comic book fans! My first visit to Golden Apple was a friendly, welcoming experience. I was able to get help finding some fun back issues, along with getting signed copies of new comics by creators and artists of different series. from signing events held at the store.   Well holy 5H1T, what an amazing place!! 🤯 I came to LA just for a couple of days and boy am I glad I decided to visit this place. Left with some grade A+ gems for my collection. Tons of new stuff but some serious vintage jewels. Among the best comic book stores I’ve visited!

  TLDR: Will hold onto your money and cancel your order if books go up in value to flip for a profit. No integrity or customer service. Take your business to Third Eye, Midtown, TCM, BTC, KRS, ECC or pretty much any other online shop. UPDATE: Another order (this time placed an entire month ago) was now cancelled in full in a similar fashion. After further research they have been engaging in this behavior for years and scammed many other customers the same way.   This was my first experience with Golden Apple Comics. I spend quite a bit on Comics every month and my first order with them was for $300+. I ordered several different covers of one particular book, along with duplicates for a friend. All were shown to be released in September. When that date passed and there was no movement on “Shopify”, I had to reach out to GAC for my order status. I was informed that the publisher delayed the release until early October. This is fully understandable, but in my opinion, there should have been communication from GAC advising me of the delay. More than a wee
