  Nice place to get games, controllers, or even a slightly used console. You can play right in the game lounge if you want to try things out or just not enough funds to get a full set up. The guy behind the counter was super helpful, very knowledgeable and I will definitely go back. Only had time to check out half the establishment, so I'll update on physical gaming next time.   -Family friendly -passionate, cordial staff -great selection for hobbiests, tabletop RPGs, trading cards, crafts, comics, and nestolgic collectibles! Amazed with this local business. Timothy helped my family get into Trading card board games and answered all of my questions with patience and experience. We also started going to their card tournaments they host on the weekend and found that they are great, local fun, and I don't have to drive to Raleigh to get out of the house.

  I went to hit point hobbies, to try to get a better collection of video games, and I've met Timothy, who was one of the best salespeople that I've ever met in all of my small business. Adventures, this guy was informative, kind and patient with all of the things that I needed to look at. And the store that evening, I could not recommend a better place to get your retro games or just find some Downtime in Aberdeen.

  This place is a solid spot for MTG and TCG players. They have Weekly tournaments and a lively community that contributes meaningfully to the space and makes it a welcoming place. I’m not as familiar with it, but it seems like the 40K crowd also gets a good amount of love and their tables in the back do a good job of catering to their regulars. Unfortunately that’s where my positivity ends. From a board gaming perspective, this place is severely lacking. They have a few shelves dedicated to a small collection of evergreens (Azul, Agricola, etc), but overall have a wild smattering of random bi

  Came in looking for a board game to play. There is a decent collection but many of the popular ones were absent. It wasnt very organized and there were a lot of expansions for base games they didnt have. I asked someone behind the counter for help and they told me they didnt really know anything about the board games. The vibe was mostly commander MTG players, which is fine, its just not something i like. Ill probably check out this store again if they ever run a draft of any new mtg set.

  They sold me a game called ninja gaiden 3 razor edge and when I got home I try to play it and all it does is a black screen and then I tried it again and it played but keep freezing up and then black screen again. Why would you sell me a game that dosent work.

  I honestly don’t have a clue what this place is but my son says it’s awesome! It was neat to walk around and look but I didn’t know what I was looking at. The really nice employee tried to help me understand but it wasn’t much of a priority for me so I just listened and thanked him.
