  The GOAT of game store in MKE area. Really cares about building a community for any tabletop games. Is a safe space for anyone. A standard and draft environment that is enjoyable for any MTG player. They implement methods to reduce scalping, so they usually able offer retail price and get product to people who are using it. Not the biggest but truly the best.

  Recently want to to get back into magic after not playing since college. I found that HoneyBee Games was in the area and well reviewed so I decided to go and check it out. Unfortunately, it was a really unpleasant experience. Given that I havent played magic in almost 15 years I had a lot of questions, some of which included asking about ordering collectors editions. As soon as I started asking about pre-ordering things the guy who was running the counter was cold and treated me like I was some scalper.   I've been here sparsely before but will go back more often. They carry Pokémon boosters but limit per person which is great and needed these days. Prices are very fair. The shop is cozy, clean, and organized, and most importantly: the staff is welcoming.

  Was very excited to go to my first pre-release at this store with my partner. The website did not mention a sign up anywhere on the calendar so we showed up about 15 minutes early. Upon arrival we were told that there is a wait list and we needed to sign up. When asking where to sign up it was shared this was on discord. No where in the event did it mention a sign up or a discord and I asked if this was in the website. They stated no since they don’t know technology very well. Seems like adding a discord name in an event on your calendar wouldn’t be too much of a technology lift. We asked i

  Weird vibe. I’m visiting Milwaukee for a convention and trying to introduce my friends to One Piece while I’m here, so I called looking for singles to finish out a deck. Instant tone-shift the moment One Piece gets brought up. I get that the game has turned into some hype garbo lately (trust me, it’s miserable for us players too), but I promise I just need two Ground Deaths and am not trying to flip product or something, I’m gainfully employed and have known the touch of a woman.
