  I came here as a first-time Dungeons & Dragons player, and this place made my nerd brain light up like a slot machine. The store is basically a small warehouse filled with everything: miniatures, paints, tournaments, one-off games, campaign tables, arcade machines — and people running every type of session imaginable. I joined a beginner D&D game run by a Dungeon Master who somehow managed to guide total newbies without making us feel like we were slowing the world down.   Actually and factually the best game/hobby shop ive ever been too. I and my friends and family have been coming here for years and have always had an amazing experience. The staff is genuine about their passion and knowledge of the products they are selling. You need help brewing a magic deck workers will sit down with you hand help you hands on.   There’s a guy up front at the register who looks like George R. R. Martin and that guy is my favorite employee at the store. He is always professional, kind, and helpful. I think he should be the store manager because he’s the best person I do business with. Actually, give him the store. I will keep going here even when the move to Buford happens only if George R. R. Martin is there to choose my boxes for me.

  Don't be fooled The employees are nice, but the store doesn't care about its customers. This is a corporation disguised as a "Local Game Store". There are plenty of amazing stores in the Atlanta area, give the ones who care about community your service.

  Level up is the go-to board game hub. They offer a ton of great games and have a massive space to test them out. They also offer a D&D treasure trove including books, guides, dice, and minis for all occasions. If you enjoy gaming, be sure to drop by. If an event is going on, just be prepared for things to get very loud.

  None of my D&D players were able to host the game this week, so we met up here and I was pleasantly surprised by how big the store is. The selection of knickknacks and supplies for any tabletop game you want to play is excellent! The wargaming and card gaming tables were perfect and we had a great time playing.   I usually enjoy my time at Level Up Games. But this past weekend was such a disappointment. The guy up front at the register who kinda looks like George R. R. Martin was either power tripping or on something. If im going to buy a product for 190$ i should be able to choose what im getting. He prevents me from buying the tcg box that i wanted and gave me another saying he doesn't let people choose. I assumed it was a new level up rule but no my friend went and tried and come to find out it was his own delusional policy.   The store Had ALOT going on when we stopped by during MagicCon. Store seemed really nice. The bathrooms didn't lock and my daughter walked in on someone. The staff seemed friendly and the prices seemed fair. Lots of games and accessories. The floor staff kinda seemed to follow you. Like I get it new people be cautious maybe they've had bad luck before with folks? Me and my daughter are legit gamers and the way they hovered made us leave. We will probably returning ever in town because of how nice the store seemed.
