  This review is for its capacity as a comic book store, so may not apply to their cards. Good store overall, but plenty of pros and cons. The staff is knowledgeable and typically friendly. They have a wide selection of current comics and have some back issues The prices however are seemingly random and do not align with the market. I’ve seen comics typically priced at 4 dollars marked up to 20 dollars which is just insane. I’d say their biggest strength however is their collected editions and that’s what I mostly go there for.

  i love double play for selection on my pokemon, although i’ve had a few interactions with one of the employees in specific and has been rude to my friend about comic book questions and rude to me about pokemon. the man who wears a hat and has a beard (vague description i understand) but it’s not okay to talk to your customers poorly. and for a day you close at 6, showing up at 5:53 for one specific item and choosing to spend my money at this business, I feel i should not be treated with disrespect and the feeling im annoying someone. the moment i walked in, he told me they were about to close

  Robert and Eric are very awesome guys! Robert took the time to explain in detail what I had in my collection! Made an offer I couldn't refuse!! Eric gave me the direction I needed when I first called about 1 week ago. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place of business, and I will never deal with anyone else other then this establishment!   Gave this place two chances because they have a good selection of modern and current comics but won't go back. Besides one young lady that works there the staff is miserable and rude. They pack the long boxes extremely tight and every comic gets bent when you pull them out. They use cheap clear tape on the bags so even if you can pull your comic out the box you will still end up bending it when you try n board it. Prices are marked up seemingly at random.

  Guy was cursing up a storm the entire time I was there, from start to end. With little kids present. I only asked if they sold one piece cards/sets, and the staff member’s answer was “We don’t sell those because my boss thinks it’s a fad.” then followed up with more cursing and asked “have you ever held a real one piece card in your hand?” And just swore up a storm and confused the heck out of me. But I felt insulted and left. Never coming here again.

  I was thoroughly surprised and delighted to find out that this place was still open. I used to buy comics from them in the 90s! Thanks to smartphones, I kinda quit reading, but I started, again, and guess what! My smartphone helped me find them! 😂 They have a great selection. The Travel zine is from a grocery.
