  This comic book store is massive and so fun! Up a colorful flight of stairs for wall-to-wall comic books, gear, fan merch, illustrated novels, classics and more. Up another flight of stairs where you can grab a hug from Superman, there are even more goodies! This place is huge with really cool views and kind staff. Highly recommend for kids and people of all ages because they have so much to look at and a massive selection. Great place for fangirl selfies, obviously! I was visiting from Texas at Christmas time and it was decked out and toasty warm inside. Can’t wait to go back!

  In NYC for Comic Con and decided to check out this store. It's very impressive when you walk in as you are greeted with the sight of thousands of comics, hardcover books, figures, statues and other collectibles! There's also a second level that has discount and regular comics, Pop figures, more statues, clothing and other items. As I walked the store, the staff clearly know their customers and their niche marketplace presence. My only concern is this - besides the discounted comics, there's really no older comics like silver age and you can tell they heavily focus on current trends and hot ite

  Awesome selection online, but incredibly frustrating to put your, impossible to peel off consistantly, inventory stickers directly over a sealed virgin cover comic priced $125, you only seem to do it on the more expensive ones get which baffles me. Otherwise very good selection especially online. Honestly would be 5 stars if the app didn't lose carts, allowed wish listing of in stock items from item page...and mostly if these stickers didnt drive me crazy. Spent around $500 across 4 orders the last 3 weeks. Successfully removed 3/10 stickers without the vacks looking trashed. Edit: most annoy

  WOW!!! If you're a comic or graphic novel lover, then this is the place for you!! We went to the location on 40th st as it was stated to be the original store and "iconic" online. Our son has just recently begun getting into comics so this store was overwhelming to know where to start! The staff were incredibly helpful with 2 different members going to get comics or taking him directly to options they would recommend. They discussed sales with us and listened to his interests. We were able to get 3 comics for less than $15 (they have new releases and older volumes as well) and 3 full volume bo

  This is always a must stop on my trips to NYC. I always get a few comics for the ride home. Store is always very clean and have the best selection anywheres in the city. I have never gone in and walked out with nothing. The staff is the best in the city hands down and the pricing is fair. See you guys next time!!

  Midtown Comics absolutely exceeded expectations. The idea to visit actually came from one of my kids, and I’m so glad we went. You could easily spend hours in there—the comic selection is insane. They even have 3D-printed figures for sale, which felt more like walking through an exhibit than a store. On top of that, their in-house swag is genuinely cool (not an afterthought). The staff was friendly, welcoming, and clearly knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. We stopped in on the evening of Sunday 1/11, and it was a highlight of our NYC trip. I’ll definitely be visiting again
