  A couple things really make this place stand out. It’s open and welcoming, without a lot of cliques forming. They support an incredibly wide range of games and products. As a business it is run well and professionally. They aren’t just passionate about games, but about succeeding as a business and ensuring their customers are satisfied. The store has a personality, a brand. It’s not just a box for people to play games in. It’s a warm and attractive place to spend time in. Hands down the best game store I’ve been in.

  I've played Mtg since 2011 and have played at most of the local gaming stores in the Metro Richmony Area. While I've had great experiences at most of the stores, MTT stands out.Amazing staff. Great people. Healthy environment. Competitive, but in a challenging way not intimidating. They do a great job catering to both new players of games and people who have played for a long time.   Great card store with some great local scenes for many different games. I know of some people that drive 40+ minutes to make it to this Local Game Store because it is one of the best ones around. Great walk in and play Commander opportunities too for those that want to try to impromptu play some EDH. Healthy Discord with many different active channels. Fair prices and great staff. Only qualms are stuff that really isn't within their control being the parking and walkable food options. Parking isn't bad and is usually enough, but when a coveted LGS has an event, it gets full fairly quickly. Al

  Modern Table Top Gaming (MTTG) is unlike any other gaming store I have ever been. As soon as you enter, you are greeted and welcomed by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have traveled to many gaming stores throughout the country but this store is by far the cleanest and most organized store I have ever come across. Check out the unique sign seen from miles away.   Chris and the team have really created a special place. There is such a warm and inviting environment being fostered here. The store is well kept and stocked with a great selection of card games, board games, and accessories. All the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction.   One of the best card shops you will find in the Richmond area! Shop employees and owner are super down to earth and are always there to help and greet you! I go every week for a weekly league and the only time I miss it is if I’m out of town. Either than that I will not miss it because I want to support this shop for how much they support their players!
