  Monster's Lair is a great comic shop. It has an excellent selection despite the smaller size of the store, the staff are very friendly to their customers and will do anything to help you if you need something, and it is conveniently located near a lot of things in Lubbock, so you can just stop right on during your day. They also have great prices on back issues if you're looking to start a collection. Highly recommended!

  Was in Lubbock on a mini vacation and was looking for some vintage action figures. Came across Monsters Lair Comics and they did not disappoint. They have a ton of comics, action figures and pops. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

  My boys & I went to meet the one and only Ray 'Darth Maul' Park and he is an awesome individual! I could go on & on about him but most importantly my boys really liked him and he made an impression on them, one son is a huge fan and the other barely knew who he was so that says a lot!   Rob and his team are knowledgeable and helpful when walking into the store. This is my go to for all comic book needs. He has a great selection of new comics, high value comics, action figures, funkos and a few odds and ends. If you are looking to buy or trade go see Monster Lair.

  Good selection of comics and memorabilia. Employees are a bit dismissive but a nice group of guys. If you have something worth their time, give em a shot. If you're just trying to scrap your old comic collection and it's got some junkers, maybe take it to 2nd & Charles.
