I've been coming here for a few months now originally on a whim leading up to Riftbound's release and I have to say, of the over 10 card shops I visited, this is the one I came back to, not just once but multiple times. I have yet to find a shop this friendly besides one other, especially with some of my oddball item requests. The employees are absolutely wonderful to talk to and interact with as well. I also want to give a special thank you to Amber specifically who has put in some extra effort to help give some items a new home when they may otherwise end up in the trash like other card sho

Disappointing. Customer Service is nonexistent while employees chat amongst themselves and finally greeted me after spending about 15 minutes at the counter. The regulars are extrmely rude and will pretend you dont exist or simply shove you out of their way. Besides the awful customer service, the store carries paints, mini figures, board games, tcg products and accessories. Accessories are fair priced while trading card products and singles are slightly above market. Seems like theres plenty of table space for games but I did not want to spend any extra time inside the store. lastly, the di

I've come here a few times to play cards. Since they don't charge us to use a table I always buy a pack or 2 or something. I always get great pulls from here too. Idk how they do it

I’ve been coming to both this location and the one in Santa Monica ever since I started Magic roughly 4 years ago. The community and staff are very supportive of new players, and the staff are great people to have conversations with. One of the things I love most however is their extensive collection of board games and the demo games that they offer to play in store.

I was only in LA for two days and wanted to try out a local game store for a Magic draft. All the staff and patrons were incredibly friendly and nice. I forgot all my stuff for the draft and someone borrowed me dice to use for the draft without me even asking. 10/10 recommend. Bonus- Great selection of MTG & Pokemon singles with convenient kiosk in store and online option.

I've been here a few times and usually its a decent place to get hobby stuff. Came here at 2pm when the store is supposed to be open to grab some paints, and the door is locked. No sign saying they are closed today. Just bars on the door and a dark interior. I waited until 2:30. No one was came to open the store. I watched 3 groups of people try to get in and leave. There was one die hard customer waiting when I left. If I owned this place, whoever was working a shift today would be looking for another job. TL;DR The place isn't open during posted hours. Lost my business, gonna get things off

Petition to have them open at 10am instead of 2pm. opening at 2 is so late for a card store and being open for only 8 hours is kinda diabolical.

We're a D&D party of 8 plus DM, and we couldn't find a place willing to accommodate a group of our size until Paper Hero's Games! The staff is so kind and helpful and they always make sure we have a space to play and everything we need. Special shout-out to Olivier who's always so friendly and accommodating. Though the player community here is more Magic-focused, the store also has a great selection of board games, D&D miniatures, and dice. Oh, and cheap snacks and drinks — a boon for those 4-hour sessions when my party is desperately trying to survive the mortal danger I throw them into.
