  I’m giving 4 stars because I’m bummed. I couldn’t afford an entire Allen ginter hobby box. There was literally half a box. I believe was 13 packs. After opening every singles pack. I got not one parallel, not one hit, literally nothing. I spent a lot of money and got nothing. Not making accusations. I had a similar experience where I opened every pack available “ by pack” in the entire box at a different shop ( mt p) when I mentioned that I purchased every pack and got no hit, he blamed Topps and had an already prepared hobby box with 3 relics waiting for me🤦‍♂️I should’ve learned my lesson

  the owner is awesome, but that other employee needs to GO. ruined the entire experience with his condescending attitude and behavior. if you come here, make sure the owner is present or else you probably won’t be coming back

  Rookies is a great shop to stop in and check out for yourself...card & board games a plenty, comics for everyone's liking and a ship owner that makes every shopping experience, a fun one. Plus, Rookies is a great place to get ur books sent in for grading, pressing, and I do believe cleaning.

  What a joke. Was told the owner would be in to sell something me cards and when i show up after 30 minutes he's been supposedly been gone for an hour. What a joke and a waste of customers time. My kids and I will no longer be going here and will be making the extra drive to Greenville whenever we need anything from here on out.

  The owner is pretty cool, however the oversized employee should be fired. I honestly don’t know how he got hired for a card shop completely useless, rude, then acts like he can’t hear you but he can hear you. The store would be actually an alright place if big boy wasn’t there.

  This place is an unexpected gem in downtown Lowell. If you’re not local, it’s worth the trip from say, GR; despite its size it’s packed with fun products for any collector/enthusiast. There’s a fun, relaxed vibe at Rookies. The owner, Jack, is a warm, friendly and “comic-al” guy (had to!!!). If you’re looking for anything specific he’s happy to help or keep an eye out for you. Additionally, if you’re looking for a place to sell/trade for store credit, Jack gives, in my opinion, a fair deal and is pleasant doing business with.
