  Well, it is a local establishment and they've been around for a while but like most businesses, theres quite a mark up on a lot of items. Surprisingly though they were quite competitive with what we came in looking for. I wouldnt say the selection would yield unusual finds (unless the price correlated) but you will find what you need to get your campaigne rolling. Overall though I found the giggling crew members off-putting, and the inappropriate use of cell-phones to generally be a non-verbal cues to me that everyone was too busy having their own conversations or in their own world to be both

  An outstanding local game store in all the ways a local game community can be outstanding. You read that correct, the fact this is a store that sells things is secondary to the value this location provides to the community. This is the reason Rune & Board is so highly rated, and why everyone from the Portland area seems to want to get on the TriMet blue and come down here; to buy the things they could buy anywhere at Rune & Board.

  The events I've gone to here have always been fun and the community seems to be very friendly. They have a wide selection and nice table space. The only thing that I disliked was from a while back when they were charging 20 pack for a first edition set. LGS can charge what they like for sure, but trying to get packs local for a draft made it feel not so good.

  Insanely good store. Visited here with a group of friends on vacation. After having a poor experience from a different board game store the morning of October 21st, we visited here and I got a wonderful crash course on the Warhammer minis and the necessary supplies to paint them as a newbie. The staff are well-informed, they're polite, and they are lovely. You will not find a better store regarding tabletop and other miscellany gaming materials than this one. If I lived here, I'd have gone back more than once - and my wallet would more than likely hate me for it.
