Amazing store for MTG, with decent spread of singles and easy to use (and updated) digital database. If you’re looking for a store in passing and are rolling for random foils and reserved cards, this is a good place to look.

Went to a prerelease for Riftbound and the owner chose to not do any prizing, raffles, giveaways etc for the event so everyone started scattering after 1 round. Making a good event environment didn’t feel like a priority, i don’t know why i’d come back to this store if a new player event is handled this way. It felt the owner kept the included prizing box that comes with the prerelease kit to sell it for a markup and that left a bad taste for this store. This game is already hard enough to get into without everyone trying to nickel and dime you for 100% of the msrp.

Went to the Riftbound Pre-Release event here, everything was going well until the store owner decided not to give out any prize packs or packs in general for participation. Once the word spread, in an instant half the players dropped and soon over a short time all the players dropped. He had two sealed boxes behind the counter just sitting there, in which one of them was sent to be used as prize packs for the event. Everyone knew that he would sell them as markup instead of giving back to the community. Overall was disgusted by this shady business ethic and will never set foot inside.

This store is amazing, there is a good crowd to play MTG and the prices are good. I would highly recommend this place to meet good people and play MTG. Commander on Saturday.

I understand market value, but selling Gundam starter decks at $70 and then charging a fee just to participate in a release event is bad for your clientele. Shows there’s no commitment long-term growth or their own reputation. Don’t shop here.

This is a Magic: the Gathering play space. There is a counter for sales, but the vast majority of the space is a clean and well maintained tournament room. There appears to be a selection of open board games for borrowing, but the retail is all MTG. Be nice if their Facebook page was more informative of event details. It is in the Citrus Building. Myself and others have had trouble finding it because it has low visibility or signage from the street. Look for the signs for citrus building.

I’ve played multiple different card games and have been to multiple card shops for over 10 years. Spellhold is one of those card shops you’d call a hidden gem. Small but very “homey”. My wife and I enjoy coming here for Disney Lorcana on Mondays. Rob is an awesome employee and is very welcoming and friendly. Great place and highly recommend if you’re in the orange county area!
