  I made the trip from KC, roughly a 4hr drive and it was well worth it. This is the only shop I know of that actually has a good selection of Pre code horror comics. From $1 books to grails, Pokémon and sports cards, I think they have just a bit of everything. The crew is amazing and the prices are great. Tatertot is the best shop around even if you have to drive 4hrs one way to get there. 😉

  Tatertot Comics and Collectibles feels like stepping into a geeky treasure chest, watched over by friendly NPCs. If Smaug had a collection of Pokémon cards and Magic: The Gathering singles instead of gold, this would be it. Looking for comics? They have a huge selection, from affordable reads to pristine collector copies that seem to beg, “protect me in mylar.” The Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering inventory is incredible, with singles and sealed products.   I stopped in for the first time today and was taken aback by the comic book selection. That, along with the prices and current deals, made it impossible to leave empty handed. The shop is clean,organized and nicely laid out. The staff was very helpful and super friendly and I look forward to many future visits!

  Tatertots is one of the best comic and POP shops around! They primarily deal in back issues, but always have things cycling through. The staff is great and the prices are, too. They always go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience and are truly good, honest people. I cannot speak highly enough about them. Visit them, if you’re in the area; go out of your way, if you’re not.

  The selection of actual comic books exceeds that of 80% of the shops that I've walked into in the last year. The array of Pop Culture offerings is surpassed only by their diverse gaming offerings. Statues even records are available underneath the roof of Tatertot. A lot of comic shops are awesome, but not a lot of comic book shops make you feel like part of the family. Scoot on over to Tatertot and meet your new family.

  Haven't bought comics in awhile. Stopped in and bought a few books. Of the shops around St.Louis this has been one of the best. Got an ASM 300 for a great price.
