  Excellent hobby store, I first started coming for Pokemon TCG and now I go to Warhammer 40K. I love how big the store is and how much room they have for events, so much nicer then being crammed in. The employees are very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, I’ve only had positive experiences so far. Love how much terrain they have, and how accessible the store is. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area/into wargaming/tabletop games or TCGs

  Your Hobby Place is my favorite LGS I've ever been to. Mike and the rest of the staff are super knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and have built an amazing MTG community here. Coming here for commander every Tuesday is the highlight of my week. The singles could be better stocked and the rewards are a bit stingy, but the vibes here are great. I love this place. Best place to go to if you're new to magic and looking to try out an lgs.

  Great new Friendly Local Game Store in Alexandria, located right on North Washington Street with plenty of parking on the nearby streets. They carry a full range of D&D, Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, Saga, X-Wing, Magic, Pokémon, Flames of War, Team Yankee, Bolt Action, other Warlord games, terrain, paints, and many other miniature and board games. This spacious store provides numerous tables to play games, and offers online table reservations and free WiFi. The staff are friendly and helpful, but will also let you shop quietly if you choose.   This is a fantastic hobby store. It is the only hobby store that is metro accessible and within driving distance in the DMV area. They have a large amount of tables that can serve as tabletop gaming tables or card tables, they have a huge range of products going from your classic Warhammer to historicals, Star Wars, and other genres. In addition to that, the staff pride themselves on creating an inclusiveness atmosphere where all are welcome to game, and cleanliness of the store. I highly recommend for anyone on the DMV area to make this store your hobby place.

  Staff was rude asked for singles from Pokemon dude acted like I asked for a Christmas miracle. There sealed selection was a upc and battle deck not the spot for Pokemon or in general card selection.

  Great store with a great community. They host fun events with plenty of tables for different hobbies. If you are new to any table top games this a great place to start at. Staff is very friendly and if they don’t have something you’re looking for they do a great job at ordering the product or helping you figure out where you can get whatever you’re looking for.

  Fun little hobby shop, tables, and space are always available (first come first serve, however). Relaxing and chill atmosphere with many things to do after a long D&D session or Wargame. And many fun/cool products to purchase that normally aren’t found in stores (mostly online). Highly recommend it to any fellow TTRPG nerd!

  Great store with a very diverse stock, including Warhammer, Magic the Gathering, board games, Flames of War, Bolt Action, and a surprisingly large number of historical games. The space is open and inviting with a lot of windows and has nice tables with a selection of wargaming terrain. Staff was friendly and informative. (Also as a lover of the bands Birthday Massacre and Sabaton, major props for playing good music!)
