  Very friendly people. Heard that Marvel was doing a collaboration and releasing a new Ultraman comic, so wanted to check it not. Not the biggest place and limited back copies, but its a good little place. I have talked with them before at some of the Galaxy-Cons that have come to Richmond. Very bright place, decent supply of new released comics. Looks like they might do some card games or D&D role playing here. My son grabbed a new comic and my daughter picked a graphic novel out. Good place maybe to get a subscription service. When I was walking out few guys walked in and they seemed

  This is the first comic shop Ive been to since moving to Richmond. The staff was super helpful and nice. There were conversations happening between the customers, which is cool because in my hometown the comic shops are usually pretty quiet. There's a good selection of comics/manga/cards etc. the comics are pretty bagged and boarded, so if you're a reseller you shouldn't have to worry too much about those spine nicks or anything like that. Overall great store.

  Not one to write any reviews but this place deserves it!! Alex was just a pleasure to chat with, she is super knowledgeable, and is like a walking encyclopedia of the store. If you have any questions she’s the one to talk to. I ended up landing on Full Metal Alchemist (one of the many recommended books from Alex) I’m already on chapter 4 & can’t put it down! I’ll most certainly be back for the next book very shortly Needless to say go check out this place!

  Alpha Comics went above and beyond to fulfill an order and deliver it to a friend of mine who was recently hospitalized near their location. I truly appreciate the seamless transparency, ease of ordering, and outstanding customer service they provided to make my friend's hospital stay more comfortable with a few enjoyable comics to read. I am not a native of the Virginia area but I know if I am ever around their location I surely will be swinging by to make some purchases to support them because of their friendly service.
