  I went in to buy a single pack of cards, but from the moment I walked in, the experience felt awkward and unwelcoming. I tried to connect with the cashier, mentioning that I used to play Dragon Ball Super TCG and would attend local tournaments years ago, but their response was minimal and their energy felt uneasy the entire time. When my girlfriend walked to another part of the store to look around, it seemed to make them even more uncomfortable.   So, I have had a few experiences at Bird Dog. My first few were just taking collections for two TCGs that I was no longer going to participate in. I'm a fairly understanding person, yet I didn't like the fact that most cards don't get you anything. They have to be in demand, or nada. I get it, but I suppose that's more a critique on the TCG Market. However, what I can say is that I am not happy with how they decided to run their Riftbound Event I attended. They ran a Casual, yet with no restrictions toward cards that are obviously OP. Employees were also allowed to compete in the event, which

  The owner was really helpful and allowed my son and I to take our time shopping the last 15 min. of the store being opened. We were not rushed which was really nice. We found some really cool One Piece items to purchase etc. at good prices. We even asked for tips on opening up our own store as my son is interested in opening up a shop of his own sometime in the near future. We will definitely be back. We bought 6 items today and had our eye on a few other things we would like to purchase. Can't wait to return!!!
