  Good store with cool staff. At least for me, a not super competitive mtg player who doesn’t care about collecting big flashy cards. Giving 4 stars because the new website makes doing in store pickups for card orders a pain compared to the old one.

  I frequent this shop because it’s my neighborhood spot, and the space they provide for Warhammer is excellent. I’ll echo other reviewers in noting that some of the staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful. However, during my visit yesterday to pick up a few paints (great selection at fair prices), I had a frustrating experience. A customer who had already completed their purchase stood at the front counter chatting about MTG for nearly 10 minutes, even as a line formed behind them.   I like playing at the store but I have a hard time wanting to support them given how they are selling Pokemon above MSRP. I don't want to hear their dumb excuses about rellers, just limit it to 1 item per shopper. Don't tell me scalpers are bad and turn around to do the same thing. Owner has been fairly cold to me and it all leaves me with the impression that they are just interested in my money. Disappointing.

  Love this place. They have a bigger selection of warhammer than the warhammer store. They have all the paints and games and models you could want. Best place to buy or play on the East side.

  This is a great gaming store on the east side of Madison that offers dedicated tablespace and hosts a variety of events. If you're interested in playing, I recommend checking their schedule to see what they have going on each day.
