  I ordered the Shrimp Pho. I was so excited bcuz I’ve never had Pho before & I’ve been wanting to try it forever. It was absolutely disgusting. The noodles were barely cooked, the broth & veggies were flavorless & they only gave me two pieces of fried shrimp. Who serves fried shrimp with pho? And only two pieces? That’s preposterous. Not to mention, the guy at the front was so rude. He needs to just stay in the back & cook. It was absolutely horrible & I would never go back. I wish I could dispute the charge on my card & get my money back.

  I'm a regular here at the store for commander, league and some events. The people here are like another family to me and it's always a good time. New players are welcomed, and everyone is very patient and willing to help. It's not just a store, it's a beautiful little community.

  The 8th Side is my personal favorite place on earth! It's a den of everything you could ever need to have fun and make friends in a very welcoming (and nerdy) community! Sam, the owner of the game shop portion of the store, is a very friendly and honest man that's very welcoming of newcomers and people who just want to know more about the communities of these games. Andrew, one of the associates, is so cool as well, very chill guy to talk to and learn from. The noodle house portion of The 8th Side Is owned by a different guy, he's all about getting what you want on your plate/bowl, food so hot

  This place is everything that's wrong with the hobby. First off their prices are outrageous! The Prismatic Surprise box that I had just bought at Target the day before for less than $30, theyre charging $90 for! Don't even think about selling them cards, they pay less than 30% for Magic cards. I understand the fact that they need to make money but when you offer someone $3 for a card that they have in their case for $20 that's a bit ridiculous! Good luck even getting someone to talk to you if your not one their regulars/buddies.

  I collect old Dungeons and Dragons books and someone told me to check this place out. In addition to a lot of other things...they have a good selection of new D&D books and also some of the older books. If you are in to collecting check this place out...they may have that book you have been looking for. I found this place fairly recently so have only been there twice but both times the staff is friendly and the owner was great. Atmosphere is friendly and it is nice to see people who enjoy gaming frequenting The 8th Side.
